           Planetary Ambience

The CD "Solar System" contains the essence of my many years of sound research as Akasha Project. The music’s basic tones are derived mathematically from the planet’s orbits around the sun, applying Hans Cousto’s cosmic octave system. These are acoustic “high potency” of reality frequencies. All tone intervals are tuned purely diatonic to present the natural overtone series.

The result is spherical music, which represents the corresponding planets. A natural listening experience which invites our senses to perceive the wonderful surrounding cosmic reality.

CD "H2 The Quantum Music of Hydrogen" by Akasha Project
           The Sound of Hydrogen
 

Based on the frequencies calculated by Hans Cousto in 1999 „H² - Der Klang der Wasserstoffmolekuele“ (H² - The Sound of Hydrogen) the composer and sound artist Barnim A. Schultze aka Akasha Project developed a special composition method for the octave analog transposition of measurements of the spectral data (resonance maxima) of hydrogen atoms.

This work and the production of a preferably pure description of the harmonic conditions on the microcosmic quantum level was created over a period of ten years. The result is a harmonic sound sculpture, created on the base of a „self-composing“ musical process, which can give an impression about what holds the world together in its core.

Quantum music is hearing the world (Akroasis).

        Molecularly Ambience

The Akasha Project by Barnim Schultze is known to exclusively make music in planetary and molecular octave tunings. On this album the infrared spectrum of the LSD-25 molecule indicates the tone sequences and also the tempo. In his words: "Quantum music is self-composing". As a master of tuning in, the Akasha Project opened the World Psychedelic Forum in Basel on March 21, 2008 with exactly this recording.

Thirteen delicate sound images invite to a relaxing horizontal journey through romantic spheres. According to the law of the cosmic octave by Hans Cousto the 'Klangwirkstoff' is a sound of fluidity and sophistication creating a perfect setting for the individual 'cinema of the mind'.

The tunings are organized according to the affect, which it has on the mind. This may trigger the sub-consciousness representing an entrance to the hidden archaic levels of dream states. A sensitive, audiophile synapse massage, which offers the possibility to soften too hardened reality concepts a little.

2CDr "Earth Trilogy" by Akasha Project

           Deep Planetary Meditation

The tonic notes, the tempi and also the length of the three pieces by Akasha Project are calculated from our planet's three elements of motion, in exact accordance with the law of the octave. Unusually, the frequencies of each note on the synthesizer are altered in such a way that the scales of notes are tuned exactly diatonically - that is to say, in each case exactly according to the natural overtones. In this way a clarity of resonance was achieved which is not possible with normal chromatic tuning.

The Earth's rotation about its axis.
The tonic note of this piece is determined from the Earth Day, which is measured from the highest point of a fixed star to the moment 23 hours, 56 minutes later when it returns to the same place. " The dynamic G of the Earth Day always has something of a fresh breeze about it," is Barmin's experience with this frequency of note.

1: PURPLE MIND
The precession of the earth´s axis (platonic year)
This piece is derived from the circular motion of the earth's axis, which moves the spring equinox - when day and night are equal - once through the entire zodiac in 25,920 years. The music is like an unrestricted journey through new, vast worlds whose expanded dimensions leave everyday concepts far behind - it clears the spirit which is left free for creative imaginings.

CD OM Meditation

          Planetary Ambience / Earth-Year Tunings

The idea behind this piece of music is to act as an aid for meditative and therapeutical exercises. It is an invitation to relax and harmonize with one's surroundings. Through minimalistic modulations the sound changes gradually, the amount of tones has been consciously reduced in order to open up the listener's world for personal experiences. (Thus this production focuses on supporting meditations or spiritual exercises, rather than being a distraction).

"Om", which is an exact overtone of the tropical earth year (earth's orbit around the sun), is the root tone of a large part of classical Indian music.

CD Venus Meditation

"Venus Meditation" is B. Ashra’s follow-up CD to the successful „Om Meditation“. Both CDs are very well suited for meditations, therapeutic sessions, any kind of rituals, for complete deep relaxation, or simply to enjoy.

In order to maximize the effect of the respective keynote, the composition mostly go without large arcs of suspense. Thus, what you hear are mainly minimalist electronic soundscapes.

Venus is known as the Roman goddess of love, erotic desire, and beauty. She was often depicted with a dolphin, which, in antiquity, was seen as a symbol of love and philanthropy. This is why some passages of the CD Venus Meditation contain dolphin sounds, recorded in the Atlantic near Gomera.
