Description
Tuning Fork Lplus - 128 Hz Master Fork
The founder of anthroposophy, Rudolf Steiner, wanted to create music in harmony with nature. To this end, he drew on Paul Hindemith, who pointed out in his "Unterweisung im Tonsatz" (Schott Verlag, Mainz 1939) that the fundamental note "C" can be tuned on the basis of our time calculation. 128 Hz is the seventh octave, i.e. the seventh doubling of 1 Hertz (oscillation per second). At first glance, this seems to be a good solution. However, it is based on a standard established by man, namely the division of the duration of the earth's rotation into hours, minutes and seconds.
In the book "Die heilende Kraft der Planetenschwingungen" (The healing power of planetary vibrations) by Inge Schubert and Thomas Künne, the tuning fork with 128 Hz is referred to as the "Master Fork". The "Master Fork 2" is only one octave higher at 256 Hz.
