Description
Tuning Fork L - 227.43 Hz Moon, sidereal
The tone frequency of the sidereal month is based on the moon's orbit in relation to the fixed stars. What distinguishes the sidereal month from the synodic month? If the moon and sun are in front of a fixed star at new moon, the moon is in front of this star again after the 27.32 days of a sidereal month. The sun has moved a little further in the meantime, so that it takes 2 1/4 days longer until the synodic month is completed at the next new moon.
Feel your connection to the moon in the starry sky with the sound of this tuning fork.
