Tuning Fork S - 256 Hz Master Fork 2
The founder of anthroposophy, Rudolf Steiner, wanted to create music in harmony with nature. To this end, he drew on Paul Hindemith, who pointed out in his "Unterweisung im Tonsatz" (Schott Verlag, Mainz 1939) that the fundamental note "C" can be tuned on the basis of our time calculation. 256 Hz is the eighth octave, i.e. the eighth doubling of 1 Hertz (1 oscillation per second). At first glance, this seems to be a good solution. However, it is based on a scale defined by man, namely the division of the duration of the earth's rotation into hours, minutes and seconds.
In the book "Die heilende Kraft der Planetenschwingungen" (The healing power of planetary vibrations) by Inge Schubert and Thomas Künne, the tuning fork with 128 Hz is called the "Master Fork". 256 Hz is only one octave higher and is therefore called "Master Fork 2"
