The fundamental tone of this gong from PAISTE is based on Pluto's orbit around the sun every 248 years. Pluto was only discovered in 1930 and classified as a dwarf planet in 2006.

In Greek mythology, Pluto is known as Hades, the ruler of the underworld – guardian of hidden treasures and inner darkness. He brings to light what lies in the shadows – in both the personal and collective psyche.
